Janet kills it with MJ tribute

A perfect 10 goes to Janet Jackson for her tribute in the MJ tribute to kick off the VMA's last night. Straight up, the tribute kinda sucked...it was Madonna's dull speech and stage dancers dancing to a few of his hits...TOTALLY sucked. But Janet saved it with her performance of Scream (which she recorded with her brother in like 95 I think). Sure, she was clearly lip-synching, but she still killed it (ESPECIALLY when she did the same solo dance that MJ does in the video).

Way to save the day, Double J!

Janet Jackson breaks her silence

Sending a sa-weet plus 8 points out to Janet Jackson for finally breaking her silence after her brother Michael's death back in June. She spoke briefly at the BET Awards just thanking everyone for their support, but she hasn't really been heard from since. Now, on top of her leading a tribute to MJ this Sunday at the VMA's, she's speaking about her brother in the new Harper's Bazaar. Check out the article right here.

Janet Jackson: Doin it up at the VMA's for MJ

Janet Jackson has just been confirmed to lead a tribute for her brother Michael that will open up the Video Music Awards this coming Sunday night. Unless you grabbed tix to her last tour, no one has really seen Janet perform in a while -- so not only is the plus 26 points for this awesomeness for her "comeback," but also because a Janet-lead tribute will rock. And hopefully this will end the MJ tributes, because he's been dead for 3 months now and I'm getting slightly annoyed.

(P.S. For anyone wondering why I gave 26 points to this, that's what age I turned last week, and I love all things MJ, so...Happy Birthday to me.)
